Fonda L Stoddard sadly passed away at the age of 72 early Thursday morning, August 29th, 2024, after a long struggle with ongoing health issues.

She was born on July 11th, 1952, as the daughter of Myla and Morton Heydrick. Fonda was the eldest of 8 brothers and sisters as part of a close-knit family that lived in West Fort Ann, NY.

She worked as an over the road furniture mover for many years, a career that she loved. A tough woman but also caring to those she loved. She had many hobbies but especially enjoyed crafts whether it be painting, ceramics, or wood projects among others. In her younger years she enjoyed outdoors activities such as fishing or many a time spent with family playing volleyball or tossing horseshoes. And of course, loved and cherished her feline companions over the years.

Fonda is predeceased by her parents; sister, Nancy; brothers, Scott and Timmy; and former husbands, Charles Kessler and Paul Dashnaw.

She leaves behind her husband Bruce of 20+ years; her 7 children, Trina, Stephanie, Eric, Chris, Robert, Sean, and Bruce; her sister Cris Ann; brothers Robin, Terry, and John; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may join us in a celebration of life service being held Friday, September 6th at 11am at the West Fort Ann United Methodist Church, 1011 Copeland Pond Rd, Fort Ann, NY 12827.
