Glens Falls, NY --- Frederick K. Eldred, 64, passed away Friday, May 29th, 2026 with loved ones at his side.

Born May 2, 1962, in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of Joyce C. (Gage) Smith and the late Floyd J. Eldred. Fred graduated from Queensbury High School in 1980 and worked at the Six Flags Great Escape Theme Park in Queensbury, NY. He enjoyed fishing, crafting, and scratch-off lottery tickets.

In addition to his father, Fred was predeceased by his daughter, Clarissa Stewart; sister-in-law, Karen W. Eldred; and grandson, Spencer Eldred.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Nicole Eldred, Joseph Eldred, Samantha Eldred, Kyle Stewart, and Averialle Stewart; mother, Joyce C. (Gage) Smith; grandchildren, Blaize, Loryann, Abbigale, Russell, Joseph and Jayden; sisters, Carol (Ralph) Daab of Queensbury and Catherine Sweet of Hudson Falls; brothers, Floyd Eldred of Queensbury, Michael (Lisa) Eldred of Victory Mills; aunts, Ruth Mach of Windsor Mass and Nancy Eldred of Hudson Falls; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and his cat, Muffin.

Calling Hours will take place from 4:30pm to 6:00pm Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804. A memorial service will immediately follow.

Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 10th at 11 a.m. at Glens Falls Cemetery, Bay St. Glens Falls, NY 12801.
