QUEENSBURY – Gail Joy (Parsons) St.Clair, 80, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at The Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family after a hard-fought battle with cancer .

Born January 4, 1936 in Gens Falls, she was the daughter of the late John and Joyce (Acome) Parsons.

Gail married Richard Charles St.Clair.

She was a graduate of Glens Falls High School and attended ACC. For many years she worked as a secretary at Pine View Cemetery.

Gail had an amazing sense of humor and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved cats and cherubs.

Shopping, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren were some of her many enjoyments.

Along with her parents, Gail was predeceased by her brother, Royal Parsons.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Shelley Cummins, Richard St.Clair and wife, Patricia, and Cheryl St.Clair and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Sydni Bromley and husband, Dan, P.J. Cote and wife, Renee, Teresa St.Clair, Ricky St.Clair and wife, Ashley, and Jon St.Clair and wife, Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Ellyssa Cote, Edward Wright, Jordan Ploof, Preston Cote, Ashton Cote, Grace-Lynn Remon, Viannah Remon Jackson St.Clair, Tatyana Gonzalez, and Cassie Stimpson; a brother Ronald Parsons; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her cat, Angel.

The family wishes to send a special thanks to staff at The Stanton for all their care and support.

Calling hours will take place Thursday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

Burial will immediately follow at Bay Street Cemetery in Glens Falls.
