South Glens Falls, NY --- George Fred Biel, 86, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from Alzheimer’s Disease at the Home of the Good Shepherd: Memory Care Unity. George was surrounded with love and kindness in his final days.

Born July 20, 1939, in Hoboken, New Jersey he was the son of Alexander and Elizabeth (Peschel) Biel.

A memorial service will take place at 6:00pm on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804 with the Rev. Thomas Fisher officiating.
