QUEENSBURY --- George Edmond Cutter, 90, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born September 6, 1936, in Bolton, Vermont, he was the son of David and Elsie (Sylvester) Cutter. He was married to Marion Pharmer.

George worked for the Jointa Line Company as a foreman for over 30 years. He was an Airman in the United States Air Force for 4 years.

George enjoyed old cars, hunting, ice fishing, gardening, and an occasional air show. He had a good work ethic, respect for others and was always there for those in need.

In addition to his parents, George was predeceased by his wife, Marion E. Cutter; sister, Patricia; and brothers, Vincent, Bernard, David (Lee), and John.

Those left to cherish his memory are his step-daughters, Linda Oshlager of Georgia, and Caroline Purdy of Cambridge, New York; step-sons, Milton Brown of South Glens Falls, Randy Brown of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Roy Brown of Lake Luzerne; grandchildren, Michael Brown of Wilton, Ricky Walden of Queensbury, Shanda Walden of South Glens Falls, Rick Brown of Ohio, Ronnie Brown of Ohio, and Randy Brown of Ohio; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Roberta Elsworth of Lake George and Connie Stevenson of Fort Ann; brother, Albert Cutter of Fort Edward; nieces, Teresa Akins, Rebecca Ellsworth, and Robin Ellsworth; nephews, Bruce Stevenson, Jon Stevenson, and Ruben Ellsworth; and many more.

Visitation will take place Monday, September 28, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

An interment with military honors will follow at Pine View Cemetery.
