Obituary

GLENS FALLS -- George Trent La Croix, 65, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 while at home with his dog Brady.

Born in Massachusetts on July, 6, 1951, he was the son of late Dr. George La Croix and Helen D. Cohen, who had remarried.

He had attend the University of Michigan, receiving his master's in business. George then worked for several prominent companies as a financial executive. One of his favorite companies was Tyco working in Texas, and finally, in Mexico.

In his youth, he enjoyed hiking in the mountains with his dog. He was a member of the Adirondack 46er's having climbing all its tallest peeks. He also loved reading and visiting points of historic interest in our great country.

George was a true lover of dogs, particularly of Kerry Blue Terriers having had them since childhood. His current dog Brady, who is 8 years old is the last of his best friends and is in need of a good home. Please help if you can.

Survivors include his two sisters, Allison McGee from La Jolla, Ca. and Lynne Mckelvey of Farmington Hills, Michigan and her two children, Kathrine and Andrew McKelvey. His very dear dearest friend, who was more like an adopted mom, Pat Herba and her family also survive him.

A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday November 17th at 1pm, located at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet, N.Y.
