GLENS FALLS -- Geraldine Cora Chruney, 63, of Peck Ave., passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2015 at Glens Falls Hospital.


Born Jan. 22, 1951 in Middletown, Ct., Geraldine was the daughter of Arthur Brown and Jeanne (Grody) Brown Loveland. Her step-father, Alvin Loveland, helped raise her.


Geraldine attended Middletown High School.


She had the privilege of being a homemaker throughout her life and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her hobbies included quilting and crafts.


Along with her parents, Geraldine was predeceased by her step-father, Alvin Loveland, and her siblings, Arthur Brown Jr., Thomas Brown, and Cheryl Carlson.


She is survived by her companion, Robert Chruney of Glens Falls; two daughters, Terri-Lynn (Chris) Krol of New Hampshire, and Allison Chruney and fiancé, William Robertson, of Hudson Falls; her son, Rick (Robyn) Spencer of Hudson Falls; grandchildren, Nik, Zak, Karly, Cayden, Colby, Sophia, Ella, Colin, Logan, and Natalie; a sister, Joan (Dave) Jaspersen; two step-brothers, Charles and Billy Loveland; along with several, nieces, nephews, and cousins.


A gathering to remember Geraldine will take place Saturday, Jan. 31, at 2p.m., at Allison and Williams's home, 28 Lincoln St., Hudson Falls, NY.


A celebration of her life will follow on April 11, 2015, details to come at a later time.
