Gina Leibert, 45, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Born September 8, 1980 in Troy, New York she was the daughter of Andrew and Brenda (Osterhout) Leibert.

Gina graduated from high school in 1998. She went on to work for Schenectady School District as a paraprofessional, Old Brick Furniture as a customer care associate, and briefly at Arrow Bank.

Gina enjoyed many things like road trips, plants, and the Outlander series. She also enjoyed spending time with her two dogs, Roxie and Nolan, and three cats, Mojo, Bandit, and Ozzy.

Gina found her longtime parter, Robert Rzeszuto Jr., and they spent 23+ years together.

Gina is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Cecelia and Frederick Osterhout; and paternal grandparents, Marjorie and Joseph Leibert.

Those left to cherish her memory are her companion, Rob Rzeszuto Jr.; children, Steven Messenger, Amberlee Rzeszuto, and Riley Rzeszuto; parents, Brenda and Andrew Leibert; sisters, Andrea Leibert and Amy (Joshua Smith) Leibert; too many aunts and uncles to name; in-laws, Robert and Laura Rzeszuto; nieces, Abigail and Zoey Gibbs; nephews, Andrew Dobert and Nickalus Brogna; many cousins; and beloved pets, Roxie, Nolan, Mojo, Bandit, and Ozzy.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will follow at 12p.m.

A graveside ceremony will follow at Union Cemetery.
