QUEENSBURY--- Gregory A. Wynn, 62, of Upper Sherman Ave., fell into the ever loving ever lasting arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at his home with his loving wife by his side.
Born February 12, 1951, in Norwich, NY, he was the son of the late Irene (Cook) Boos and Stephen Wynn.
Greg graduated from Ithaca High School in 1969 before moving to Southern California in 1971 where he worked for Behring Diagnostics as a Chemist. He moved to Lake Luzerne in 1986 where he owned and operated "Greg's Knotty Pine Diner" until 1992. From 1996 through 2007 he lived and worked at the Sacandaga Bible Conference in Broadalbin. Most recently Greg worked for the Adirondack Radiology Associates, PC.
He met his wife, Christine, in 1984, and they were married in Lake Luzerne in 1994. He was a wonderful Dad to Chad and grandfather "Papa Greg" to Devan and Joshua.
Family was most important to Greg. He and his wife enjoyed being with Chad, Devan, and Joshua most of all. One of his greatest joys was going to Red Robin with "the boys", to celebrate anything. He also enjoyed talking about and watching sports with his sister Shirley, and many good times with Chris's sister Mary Ann and her husband Jim. He had several interests, especially Native Americans and Aquaponics. He knew a lot about a lot of things. "If we needed to know anything, we would ask Papa Greg". He was a man of Faith and his greatest prayer was that he would love well. Mission Accomplished! LAUS DEO.
Greg touched many lives throughout his life. Anyone who knew him, loved him. He had many friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and entire staff of Adirondack Radiology Associates, PC, who have gone above and beyond so many times since Greg was first diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor on Jan. 19, 2012. Also a thank you to High Peaks Hospice and C.R. Wood Cancer Center for their loving care.
In addition to his parents, Greg was predeceased by several aunts and uncles.
