Warrensburg, NY --- Helen E. Brown, 96, passed away on Sunday January 21 ^st , 2018 at the Warren Center Nursing Home in Queensbury, NY. Born on January 12 ^th , 1922 in Crown Point, NY Helen was the daughter of the late Franklin M. Wolfe and Helen D. (Burtnett) Wolfe. Helen attended Pottersville Central School. Helen enjoyed embroidery work and loved her crossword puzzles, and in her younger years Helen would have a ball going to Hillbilly Heaven.

Helen was survived by her son Sheridan D. Hammond of Pottersville, NY, and one sister Charlotte M. Wisell of Lake Luzerne, NY. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her son, Phillip W. Hammond, four brothers, Frank, Billy, George, and Raymond, and four sisters, Ella, Dot, Anna, and Alice.

A special thanks to Linda DeSantis who was like a daughter to Helen, and Tammy Almay who called Helen her Gramma. Linda and Tammy were there for her when she needed them the most. Another special thanks to her niece's, Dawn Bovee, Isabelle Wallace, and Shirley Capenter.
