BOLTON LANDING - Henrietta (Heny) Martyniak, 78, passed away Monday, November 1 ^st at her home with loved ones by her side.  As a child, her family moved to Yonkers, NY, where she met and married the love of her life, Stephen H. Martyniak, on December 9, 1961.

She was an avid reader and an amazing cook and there was always room for one (or ten) more guests at her table, at her home and in her heart.  She enjoyed road trip vacations with her children, camping with family and friends and annual getaways with forever friends from her youth.  She loved playing cards and BINGO, but above all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a generous spirit and warm giving soul and those fortunate enough to know her, were blessed with friendship and support beyond compare.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Steve and her daughters Donna and Ann Marie Martyniak.  Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Diane Dobraj and spouse Maz Dobraj of Wingdale, NY; her grandchildren Stephen Martyniak and spouse Katie of Amenia, NY;  Blake Dobraj and spouse Brittany of Freehold, NY, and Brandon Dobraj of Wingdale, NY and his fiancé Mattalynn Jones and her son Willie of Poughkeepsie, NY; her great-grandchildren Hannah, Rylee and Stephen Martyniak of Amenia, NY; Savannah Dobraj of Freehold, NY; her sister and brother-in-law, Christina and Robert Savage of Bolton Landing, NY; her sister-in-law Berta Martyniak of Poughquag, NY: nieces and nephews John, Theresa, Neal and Jennifer Savage, James Martyniak and Cindy Pascalli; and many extended family and dear friends.

Calling hours will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, November 5 ^th at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette Street, Queensbury, NY 12804.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of our family and friends for their love and support.
