SARATOGA--- Henry Daniel Matteo, 93, passed away at the Pines Nursing Home in Glens Falls Saturday, May 6, 2023, after a short illness.

Born February 7, 1930, in Albany, he was the son of Henry S. and Dorothy (Fields) Matteo.

Henry served with honors in the United States Army from 1946 – 1952.

He enjoyed traveling, golfing, hiking, and spending time with his friends and family.

In addition to his parents, Henry was predeceased by his sister, Marcia.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Earl R. Matteo.

A graveside ceremony with military honors will be held on Tuesday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
