GREENWICH- Hogan Damien Irish, age 33, of Greenwich passed away Thursday November 5, 2020. Hogan was born in Saratoga Springs, New York on August 4, 1987, the son of Richard "Rick" Irish and JoAnne "Jody" Marchin. Hogan graduated from Schuylerville Central School in 2005 with a wealth of knowledge for construction from his father, ready to start his career.
Hogan married Kristin Martindale on the most perfect day of 69 at Fort Hardy Park in Schuylerville, New York in 2012. He is survived by his wife, Kristin; his children, Ryan Cross and Damien Irish; his mother, JoAnne "Jody" Marchin; his father, Richard "Rick" (Donna) Irish; mother and father-in-law, Kevin and Debbie Clark; sisters, Melissa Harrington, Jessica (Zach) Harrington, Lindsey Irish; brother, Frank Irish; sisters-in-law, Jessica Martindale, Brittany (Justin) Garrow; brothers-in-law, Jamie Martindale and EJ Martindale; grandmother, Florence Fiolich; aunts, Angela (Gary) Wood, Barbara (Ron) Facin, Mary O'Neil, Donna Mellen, Dianna Irish, Mary Hitchcock; uncles, Roger (Noreen) Irish, Charlie Irish, Mark Irish; nephews, Jonah, Esau, Sawyer, Jeremiah, Malichi, Mason, and Camron; nieces, Cassidy (Kolby) Prather and Paislee; his life long best friend, Mike (Katie) White; the cousin list is insane, Hogan was related to everyone! He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Irish II, and grandfathers, John Scott and Joseph Fiolich.
Family was everything to Hogan and he spent as much time as he possibly could in the summers, with his father, working in the garden. Damien Cade Irish meant the world to him, he would do anything for that boy. Kristin and Hogan had the kind of love that everyone could see, the power couple that you could feel if you were around them together. Hogan's sister Jessica said that they are the reincarnation of Sid and Nancy.
Hogan had a contagious laugh and left a mark on everyone that crossed his path. He has many friends that will miss him. He is a legend! Hogan will live on through his son and our memories. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
As per Hogan's wishes, there will be no viewing but a celebration of life Saturday November 14th at Schuylerville American Legion at 2 PM. Please bring your masks and your patience as everybody can not come in at once due to COVID rules.
