QUEENSBURY --- Hope R. R. Gonzalez, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

Born November 24, 1982, in North Shore Hospital, New York, New York she was the daughter of Everett C. Newman and Margaret Reyes.

Hope graduated from Grover Cleveland High School and went on to study criminal justice at Adirondack Community College, graduating in 2018.

She loved spending time with her children and pets, as well as her nieces and nephews.

Hope was predeceased by her father, Everett C. Newman; brother, Daniel Newman; grandparents, Isabel and Rafael Reyes, Claire Bins, and Lloyd Newman; niece, Loveyuh Newman-Stroud; and nephew, Jimmy Newman.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Miguel Gonzalez; children, Isabel Newman and Martin Newman-Heck; parents, Margaret Newman-Nielsen and George Nielsen; sisters, Lisa Lenoci, Donna Elhabrouk, Doreen Newman, Carleen Newman-Stenson, and Isabella Newman-Moron; brother, Evertt Newman; nieces, Elizabeth, Laura, Hannah, Samantha, Rachel, Rebecca, and Jacqueline; nephews, Paul Jr., Evertton, Michael, Johnny, Joseph, Josiah, Everett III, and Logan; and her beloved pets, Nova and Alpha.

Visitation will take place Friday, July 25, 2025, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A graveside ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Pine View Cemetery.

A potluck style gathering will follow from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at VFW Post 6196, 32 Luzerne Rd., Queensbury, NY 12804. The family requests that you bring a dish to share or canned drinks, if able.
