LAKE GEORGE - Howard C. Bombard, 72, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009, at home with his family by his side.

A lifelong resident of Lake George, Howard worked at marinas on the lake until his retirement.
He enjoyed spending his summers camping at Crown Point and fishing on Florida's Gulf coast during the winter months. A lifetime of hunting and fishing and his love of the outdoors, have created unforgettable memories for family and friends.

The son of the late Walter and Mae (Moore) Bombard, Howard is survived by his devoted and loving family, including his wife, Barbara, of 50 years; his daughter, Kim; his son Mark and his wife, Cherie; and his grandchildren, Steven and Hayden. Howard is the eldest of four siblings: Peter and his wife, Pam, Floyd and his wife, Dottie, Jim and his wife, Karen, and JoMarie and her husband, Mike; and 12 nephews and nieces and many, many friends.

At Howard's request, no calling hours or services are scheduled.
