GLENS FALLS --- Howard Morgan Jr., 63, passed away Sept. 24, 2017 at home with loved ones after a long illness.

Born Jan. 14, 1954 he was the son of Howard Morgan Sr. and Edith (Swinton).

On Feb. 13, 1971, he married Laura Fisher. They were married 46 years.

Howard worked for Queensbury Maintenance and Ground for many years.

He loved watching football and routing for the Giants, as well as NASCAR, his favorite racer being Dale Earnhardt Sr.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother David Morgan, infant sisters Diane and Penny, and sister Devere Brown.

Survivors include his loving wife, Laura Morgan; sons Scott, Howard III, and Glenn (MaryBeth) Morgan; grandchildren Jacob, Christopher, Alexander, and Rilee whom he loved very much and wished he could have done more fishing with them which they loved; sisters, Joyce (Gary) Parker, Vicki (Rocky) Jackson, Rose (Leonard) Bacon; brothers, Lonnie (Christine) Swinton; Aunt Jenny; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his cat, Socks.

Calling hours will take place Thursday, Sept. 28, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Engert officiating.

Interment will follow at Glens Falls Cemetery on Bay St.
