CHESTERTOWN --- Inge M. Ruane, 61, of Main St., passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, following a brief illness.

Born November 1, 1961, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the only daughter of the late Hugh F. and Inge Ruane Sr. She is predeceased by her brother's, Hugh "Jr", Max, and James Ruane, as well as the love of her life, Robert Mesch.

Inge started her working career in the textile industry, first at the Warrensburg Dress Factory, and later at C.B. Sports in Glens Falls. Her desire to take care of her ailing parents led her to the medical field, where she spent the next 30 years working as a C.N.A. and later on as a home health aide. She enjoyed taking care of her many special clients.

Her hobbies included making crafts for friends and family, but most of all her three fur-babies, Red, Tinker and Snugglebutt.

Inge attended North Warren High and later Adirondack Community College.

She is survived by her brothers, Karl and Robin Ruane, and Joseph and Shana Ruane, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
