GLENS FALLS --- Jack L. Taylor, Sr., 71, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, following a brief illness.

Born June 9, 1954, in Glens Falls, he was the son of William and Audrey (Hall) Taylor.

Jack graduated from Queensbury High School. He served in the United States Army from 1975 to 1978. He then worked as a dishwasher at Carl R's Restaurant for many years.

In addition to his parents, Jack was predeceased by his brother, William "Rusty" Taylor.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Jack Taylor Scoville of Hudson Falls; grandchildren, Mia L. Taylor and Jessie L. Taylor of Glens Falls; aunt, Joyce Hall of Queensbury; uncle, Morton Batchelder; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside ceremony with military honors will be held at Pine View Cemetery in the spring.
