LAKE GEORGE --- James L. Anderson, 79, of Hendricks St., Lake George, and most recently a resident at Westmount Health Facility, passed away peacefully April 19, 2013.
Born May 18, 1933 in Fayette, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Henry Herbert and Mary Elizabeth (Laughlin) Anderson.
Mr. Anderson served in the U.S. Army active duty from June 13, 1950 to April 3, 1952, and in the reserves until 1958.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Anderson was predeceased by an older brother.
He leaves behind what became his family and friends, the entire staff at Westmount Health Facility.
A special thank you to all the dedication, love, and support given to Mr. Anderson in his time of need was expressed.
Graveside services, with military honors, will be held Friday, April 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville, with Deacon Bill Bazinet officiating.
