GLENS FALLS – James W. Minor, 43 passed away at his residence after a long health battle.

James was born in Fayetteville, NC on April 22, 1982, the son of John W. Minor and the late Darcy C. Wilson.

He attended Ft. Ann Central School and worked for North Country Snow and Ice Management in Queensbury for 15 years.

James enjoyed fishing, hiking, and biking around Lake George. He was passionate about animals and was always helping others.

He is predeceased by his mother, Darcy C. Wilson; paternal grandparents, George and Dorothy Minor; and many uncles and aunts.

James is survived by his father, John W. Minor, his wife, Juanita; sister, Vanessa M. Minor; maternal grandparents, James and Lucia Wilson; uncles and aunts, Robin Holcolmb, Lisa Sears, Nicholas Wilson, Scott Wiulson and Edward (Ted) Minor; Nephews and nieces, Dominic Minor, Raegan Bates and Aiden Decarli; many cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends may call from 10:00am -11:00am on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St. Queensbury, NY 12804. A funeral home service will take place at 11:00am with Fr. Charles Onyeneke from St. Mary's in Hudson Falls officiating. Burial will take place in spring at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Fort Edward.
