SOUTH GLENS FALLS: Jane H. Steady, 86, of Myron Road, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Glens Falls Hospital in the company of her devoted husband, John.
Born February 28, 1930 in Whitehall, NY the daughter of the late Walter and Betty (Martin) Munger.
Jane was a graduate of South Glens Falls High School.
She married John M. Steady on September 11, 1950.
Jane served her country in the U.S. Army.
She was later an Auxiliary member of the South Glens Falls Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 2486.
Her husband, John M. Steady survives her.
Per the request of the family, there will be no calling hours.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 22 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 62 Warren St., Glens Falls with the Rev. Joseph Manerowski officiating.
Burial with military honors will take place in the future.
