QUEENSBURY --- Janice E. Wolfe, 85, of Queensbury, NY. The heavens opened up and took our beloved Janice to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from Glens Falls Hospital.

Born January 18, 1940, in Fort Edward, NY, the daughter of the late Irving "Bud" Mac Ewan and Charlotte (Stewart) Mac Ewan.

She married Raymond F. Wolfe on June 28, 1958 at the First Baptist Church in South Glens Falls.

Janice graduated from South Glens Falls High School in 1957. She also went to Albany Business College for 1 year.

She was employed as a legal secretary for Earl F. Matte & Bartlett, Pontiff, Stewart, and Rhodes.

Some of her enjoyments and hobbies included sewing (quilting), flower gardens, as well as enjoying time spent with children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Oneida Community Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Connie (Charles) Norman, Ronald (Donna) Wolfe, and Cindy (Roger) Brodeur; grandchildren, Erik (Ally) Norman, Michael (Kayla) Norman, Jackie Norman, Ryan (Alyssa) Wolfe, Gregory (Lucrecia) Wolfe, Kellen (Gabby) Wolfe, "Her Baby" Benjamin Brodeur, and Rachel Brodeur; great-grandchildren, Fynleigh Norman, Maverik Norman, Callie Norman, Landon Norman, Emmett Wolfe, Amelia Wolfe, Ivy Wolfe; sister, Judy Picard; Uncle Clifford and Aunt Janet Stewart; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and Charlie the Chihuahua.

Calling hours will take place Thursday, April 17th from 4 to 6 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will take place the following day, Friday, April 18th at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Bailey officiating.

A graveside ceremony will follow at Pine View Cemetery.
