QUEENSBURY--Jeanette Frederick, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, surrounded by her family.

Born in Amsterdam, NY, on April 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie Tracz.

Jeanette attended St. Mary's High School in Amsterdam, graduating as Salutatorian of her class. Upon receiving her diploma, she worked several years for the Social Services Department of Montgomery County, NY.

In 1948, she married her husband, William Frederick, helping him with his printing business while also raising five children.

In addition to her parents, Jeanette is predeceased by her husband, William and daughters, Mary Margaret Frederick and Patricia Ann Frederick.

Jeanette is survived by her sons, William Frederick Jr. (Stephanie Coons) of Salem, and Mark Frederick (Maureen Bailey) of Queensbury; daughters, Susan Wiewel (Michael) of Kennebunkport, ME and Jana Frederick (Donald Bourque) of Hudson Falls; three grandchildren, Andrew Frederick of Golden, CO, Danielle LaValley of Fayetteville, NC, and Ellie Johnson of Scarborough, ME; four great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn, William John, Samuel, and Frederick. She also leaves behind a devoted nephew, Dr. William Tracz, his wife Gerry and nieces, Barbara Hetzel and Barbara Gummieny.

The family is extremely grateful to Amber Colvin for her compassionate and professional care during their mother's long illness.

A funeral mass will be offered at Our Lady of the Annunciation at a later date, with interment at the Saratoga National Cemetery.
