GLENS FALLS – Jeffrey J. Guthinger, 59, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 in Glens Falls Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Schenectady on March 9, 1955, he was the son of the late James and Joan Guthinger. He was a graduate of Linton High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College.

Jeff was a builder/carpenter. There was nothing he couldn't build or fix. He enjoyed using his imagination to produce unique features that signified his creations.

Whether at work or play, Jeff was never happier than when he was in Lake George. His fondest memories were made on the lake, in his boat, surrounded by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Paula, former wife Denise, Guthinger; his three sons, Matthew, Christopher, and Joey; his grandchildren Jenna, Chris, and Amelia; siblings, James Guthinger(Connie), Belinda MacArthur (Bill), Anne Bergami (Tom); uncle Jack Connors, aunt Ellen Brown, aunt Marjorie Connors; dear friend Nancy Fuller; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rest in peace Jeff. We love you.

At Jeff's request there will be no calling hours and the funeral will be private.
