Queensbury, NY- Jeffrey Thomas Mattison, 65, passed away July 5, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Jeff was born July 10, 1960 in Massena, NY. He was the son of Floyd and Meta (Plato) Mattison.

Jeff graduated from Massena Central High School in 1978. He graduated Mohawk Valley Community College with an associates degree.

For 30 years, Jeff worked for Walmart, mainly as a department manager, while also running his own sign business in Massena for many years.

In Jeff’s free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, painting, drawing, fishing, and home improvement projects. Jeff liked hockey and was a die-hard NY Rangers fan. He also enjoyed preaching and leading songs at church.

Jeff is predeceased by both his mother and father.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Wanda (Sucese) Mattison; children, Nathan (Leslie) Mattison, and Melissa (Jesse Lawrence) Mattison; step children, Jessica and Sarah Derouchie; grandchildren, Colin and Isabelle Mattison; brothers, Ron (Carlene), Larry, Mitch (Diane), Tim (Kathy), and Tracy; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and beloved german shepherd, Tekya.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with John Kashorek officiating.

A graveside ceremony will follow at Glens Falls Cemetery.
