FORT EDWARD --- Jeffrey P. Peceu, 60, of Bluebird Terrace, passed away early Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born Oct. 7, 1955 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Harold and Genevieve (Bombard) Peceu Sr.
Jeff attended Glens Falls High School and worked with various contractors in the area.
He enlisted in the United States Navy in March, 1974 and was honorably discharged March, 1980.
Some of his enjoyments included watching NASCAR with his late brother, Babe, and sitting around the fire in the evening with their friends.
In addition to his parents, Jeff was predeceased by his brother, Harold "Babe" Peceu, who died just last month.
Survivors include a sister, Diane Colton of North Carolina; a brother, Peter (Corinne) Peceu of Hudson Falls; two nieces, Kelly Peceu and Allison Rawson; three nephews, Stephen and Kenny Colton, and Brian Peceu; friends, Pat (Liz) O'Rourke, Peter Oddy, Lynne (Rusty) Gill, and Mark Maxam; and his beloved cat, Jack.
Graveside ceremonies with military honors will take place Wednesday, April 13, at 11 a.m. at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
