DOVER, NH/SOUTH GLENS FALLS – Jerome Scott Foglietta, Jr. passed away on April 15, 2017 in Dover, NH.

Born in Glens Falls, NY, Jerome was a young 30 years old and is survived by his mother, Tina Foglietta of Lake George, NY; his father, Jerome Foglietta, Sr. of Queensbury, NY; his sister, Jessica Ergmann of Exeter, NH and his brother-in-law, Stephen Ergmann of Exeter, NH; his nephew, Jackson Ergmann of Exeter, NH; his grandparents, Dolores and Dave Blodgett of Wilton, NY and Rose Wadsworth of South Glens Falls, NY; and several aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom loved him and he loved dearly.

Jerome was best known for his smile and his hugs. His smile could light up a room and his hugs made you feel safe and warm. Jerome loved to spend time on Glen Lake, boating, tubing, wakeboarding and fishing. He loved riding his motorcycle as it was one of the only times he truly felt free. Jerome's family was his world, and we will all miss him more than words can say.

Jerome struggled with addiction for many years. He suffered from this horrible disease, and he truly tried so hard to beat it. He wanted to get sober so he could dedicate his life to helping others so that they never had to suffer like he did. This disease affects many, so if this obituary can help just one person, Jerome's death will not be in vain.

Calling hours will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

Additional calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 21 at the funeral home.

A funeral will take place following the visitation at the funeral home.

Immediately following the services, Jerome's family and friends are invited to Tina Foglietta's home for a celebration of his life.
