Jo Anne E. Knapp passed away on October 9, 2024 after a brief illness.

Born on November 19, 1944, in Oakland, California.  She attended West Orange High School in New Jersey where she graduated in 1962.  During her working years, she was an Administrative Assistance for several different companies in New Jersey and New York.

Jo Anne was a volunteer for Proctor's, Welcome Wagon, WMHT and Girl Scouts.  She was an avid bowler, loved photography and cooking. She also enjoyed reading while looking out at the lake when up at her lake house.

Jo Anne was the lifetime partner of Sharon Sutphen for 41 years.

She was predeceased by her mother, Joyce; father, Johnny; sister, Joyce Cappadona; and sister-in-law, Susan Andiola.

Jo Anne is survived by her loving partner, Sharon; her daughter's father, Richard M Knapp; daughter, Laura Kephart (Doug); granddaughter, Morgan; and grandson, Nick; as well as a niece and nephew.

There will be no service and interment will be private. Due to her love of her four cats, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA, 588 Queensbury Ave, Queensbury NY 12804.
