LAKE GEORGE --- Joanne Mae (Graves) Harris, 70, a lifelong resident of Lake George, passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at Glens Falls Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Aug. 24, 1942 in Glens Falls. Joanne graduated from Lake George High School in 1962. She was very family oriented, and loved her children, as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Kenneth Harris Sr.; 7 children, David Harris, Paula and Kate Livingston, Lisa and Owen Fish III, Kenneth and Patti Harris, Melissa and Jonathan Lesher, Harry Rafferty, Nancy Rafferty, and Damon Winchell; 2 sisters and 2 brothers; dozens of grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and her close lifelong friend, Joanne LaBombard.
Upon her request, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
