QUEENSBURY --- John C. "Tinny" Tremblay Sr., 90, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017.

Born September 4, 1923 in Glens Falls, he was the son of John L. and Gertrude Tremblay.

John was employed by USCI before it became Baird for 29 years and Community Workshop for 15 years.

He loved hunting, fishing, camping in the Adirondacks, especially at Brown Track, Chapel Ponds and family get togethers.

In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Tremblay and granddaughter, Jodi Tremblay.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Barbara (James Link) Bartwitz of Middle Granville, John (Patty) Tremblay Jr. of South Glens Falls, Diane (Robert) Blair of Glens Falls, Eugene (Judy) Tremblay from Queensbury, and Daniel (Marilyn) Tremblay from Milford, New Hampshire; grandchildren, Ronald Bartwitz, Kelly Bartwitz, Brandy Noody, Robert Blair, William Blair, Janice Blair-Savage, John Tremblay III, Tammy Ruff and Eugene Tremblay; many great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sister, JoAnne Kelly of Queensbury; also several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

A private graveside service for John and Barbara will take place at the convenience of the family at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.

John will be greatly missed by his family.
