GRANVILLE --- John R. Ferguson, 80, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021.

Born December 2, 1940, in Queens, he was the son of Joseph and Ethel (Wheeler) Ferguson.

John graduated from high school in Norwalk, Connecticut, in June of 1958.

He enlisted into the Air Force in September of 1961 and was honorably discharged in September of 1965.

John was the owner and operator of John Ferguson Painting in New Milford, Connecticut, and more recently Glens Falls.

In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by one sister, Virginia Wells, and four brothers, Al Ferguson, Phil Ferguson, Charles Richie, and Bobby Richie.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Victoria Ferguson of Glens Falls; grandsons, Mason Ferguson and Logan Ferguson, and wife, Keaysie, of Fort Edward; great-grandchildren, Jaedyn Ferguson and Haley Saunders; also, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside ceremony with military honors will take place Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 12 p.m. at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
