Queensbury --- John C. Kelly Jr., 63, of Queensbury, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at his home.

Born June 21, 1951 in Pittsfield, Mass., he was the son of John C. Kelly Sr. and Rita P. (Mullen) Kelly.

John enjoyed hunting, trapping, and fishing. He also enjoyed baseball and was an avid Yankees fan. Above all, John loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by a sister, Mary Kelly.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years, Nancy Kelly; three children, Carrie (Brandon) Smith, Adam Kelly, and Chad (Stephanie) Kelly; six grandchildren, Chad Kelly Jr., Carter and Beckett Kelly, and Keegan, Kalib, and Kayden Smith; a sister, Betsy (Richard) Pensivy; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved cats, Max and Chloe.

An open house to celebrate John's life is set for Saturday, May 9, at John and Nancy's house starting at 1 p.m.
