QUEENSBURY & ARIZONA --- John C. McBride, 90, passed away Sunday afternoon, January 1, 2012 at The Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre in Queensbury.
Born January 3, 1921 in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Claire and Anna May (Hamilton) McBride.
John worked as a Greyhound bus driver, retiring after many years of dedicated service.
His wife, Zoa (Purner) Nobles McBride passed away May 15, 2012.
Survivors include one son, Wayne McBride of Conn.; three stepdaughters, Beverly Lockhart, Judy Miller, and Marsha Begor; one stepson, Thomas Nobles; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
There will be no calling hours or memorial services.
Burial, with military honors, will take place Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
