GLENS FALLS --- Joseph E. Saville, Sr., 79, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 22, 2025.

Born May 29, 1946, in Glens Falls he was the son of Elizabeth (Saville) Raymond.

Joseph attended Queensbury High School. He worked for the SCA Mill in South Glens Falls.

He married Barbara Hermance at Church of the Messiah in Glens Falls, on May 28, 1967.

Joseph enjoyed hunting, golf, John Wayne, westerns, telling stories, sports (especially the Yankees and Chicago Bears), and spending time with his family and his granddaughter Erica. His favorite car was his 1968 Mustang.

Joseph was predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth (Saville) Raymond and his brother, John Saville.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Saville; Children, Charles Saville, Joseph Saville Jr., Shawn Saville, and Eric Saville (Crystal); grandchildren, Erica Saville, Joshua Landon, Tyiana Hinton, Jacob Landon, and Caleb Landon; sisters, Beverly and Joan; aunt, Joan Counter; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved pets.

Visitation will take place Monday, January 12, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. with the Rev. Rich Weihing officiating.

A graveside ceremony will immediately follow at Pine View Cemetery.
