QUEENSBURY--- Josie LeBarron, 87, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, following a long illness.
Born April 21, 1937, in Corinth, she was the daughter of Joseph and Flossie (Bovee) LeBarron.
Josie graduated from Hadley-Luzerne High School in 1954. She worked for the Arrow Shirt Factory, Glens Falls Hospital for many years, Porter Medical Center in Vermont, and eventually retired from TV Data in Glens Falls.
Some of her enjoyments in life were reading and spending time with and taking care of her cats. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Josie was predeceased by her siblings, Harold Le Barron, Iona Cowles, Grace LeBArron, and Iralene LeBarron.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Stephen (Mary) LeBarron of Greenfield Center, and Gary (Kathy) LeBarron of Queensbury; grandchildren, Tracy Mills, Scott North, Stephen LeBarron, and Suzanne LeBarron; great-grandchildren, Matthew Mills, Patrick Mills, and Nathaniel North; sisters, Clara LeBarron and Mildred LeBarron; brother, Roger LeBarron; and nieces, Marybeth Heym, Andrea Agramonte, Polly LeBarron, Amy LeBarron, and Debbie Mullen.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Josie will be laid to rest at Lynwood Cemetery in Hadley.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the Granville Center and Baker Funeral Home.
