Obituary

WARRENSBURG --- Julia Marie Vernum, 78, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, following a brief illness.

Born September 2, 1947, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Arnold and Elizabeth (Mattison) Frasier.

Julia earned her GED and went on to work as a CNA at the Warren Center. She married Ivan Vernum on May 21, 1988.

She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, taking trips, visiting with friends and family, and watching WWE. She especially loved collecting dolls.

In addition to her parents, Julia was predeceased by her sisters, Shirley, Ella Jean, and Agusta Frasier, Gertrude Morehouse, Irene Millington, and Brenda Morehouse; and brothers, Darwin, Gary, Julius, Charles, and Gill Frasier.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ivan Vernum; sisters, Sharon Moon and Rosealee Moulton; brothers, Arlin and Allen Frasier; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Angel aka Gracie Ann.

Visitation will take place Friday, July 31, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Flossie Bates officiating.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Rose Moulton, Tammy Morehouse, Dinelle and John Kennedy, Nick and Tammy Moon, and Wendy Decker.
