WARRENSBURG – June M. Corentto, 88, of Countryside Adult Home in Warrensburg and formerly of Stitchman Towers, Glens Falls, died peacefully June 2, 2015, at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born June 6, 1926 in South Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Bernard and Frances (Kirby) Tinney.
For many years June worked, and retired from, the Glens Falls Hospital laundry a job that she loved.
When not working she enjoyed her family, making and furnishing doll houses for many of her grandchildren, crocheting and going to the casinos.
For the past few years at Countryside June enjoyed many of their activities including bingo, movies, apple picking and other outings.
She loved putting puzzles together for family and friends and to decorate the walls at Countryside. She also enjoyed attending the local Elvis shows with her granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two husbands, Charles Duell and Daniel J. Corentto, a daughter Rosalie Cora Sears, a granddaughter Roxane Queen, four sisters: Lois Stark, Louise Everts,, Beatrice Mosher and Anna Pagliaroni and a brother, Robert Tinney.
Those left to cherish her memory are five children: daughters Joan M. Martin (Robert) and Corinne A. Peceu (Peter); sons Daniel A. Corentto (Sandy), Michael J. Corentto (Beverly) and David C. Duell (Bonnie); son-in-law Raymond L. Sears; also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At her request there will be no calling hours. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
