FORT EDWARD --- Karen F. Kenyon, 68, passed away peacefully in her home on April 2, 2015, surrounded by her family.

Born Feb. 7, 1947 in Ballston Spa, she was the daughter of Walter Podwirny Sr. and Margarite (Stevens).
She grew up in Lake Luzerne, where she attended high school.

Karen enjoyed summer weekends camping on Lake Champlain. She also loved enjoying coffee while watching her grandchildren swimming in the pool.

A seamstress by profession, she worked for many years at the Troy Shirt Factory.

She was predeceased by husband, Cleon Kenyon, her mother, Margarite Stevens, her father and step-mother, Walter (Elsie) Podwirny, and a grandson, Daniel Valenson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two children, Kevin Kenyon (fiancée, Melissa Harrington) and Jolene Kenyon (fiancé, Anthony Perrelli) all of Glens Falls; four grandchildren, Travis and Jason Kenyon, and Kayleigh and David Harringotn; five brothers, Denis Podwirny of Kingston, N.Y., Walter Podwirny Jr. of Glens Falls, Bruce Podwirny of Corinth, Chuck Kryvey of Corinth, and James Kryvey of Wilton; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will conduct a private ceremony.
