Obituary

MOREAU --- Karen-Lynn Steinhauer, 30, of Reservoir Rd., Moreau, and formerly of Queensbury, passed away suddenly Monday, June 24, 2013, following a brief illness at Albany Medical Center due to heart complications.
God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Born August 27, 1982, in Goshen, N.Y., she was the daughter of Albert J. and Linda E. (Garrison) Steinhauer Sr.
Karen-Lynn was a graduate of Queensbury High School, Class of 2001, and later attended Adirondack Community College.
She was employed at House Calls Pharmacy on Broad St. in Glens Falls.
Karen-Lynn had many enjoyments including bowling, camping, hiking, but above all she loved her time spent with her family.
Karen-Lynn is predeceased by her brother, Al Steinhauer Jr., maternal grandparents, William and Ida Garrison, and her maternal great-grandparents, Edgar and Matilda Polhemus.
Survivors include her fiancé, Matt Rivers and their 10 month old daughter, Allyson Rose Rivers; her parents, Albert and Linda Steinhauer; sister-in-law, Kathy Steinhauer; long-time friend, Aaron Forman; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other dear friends.
Friends may call upon the family Friday, June 28, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Flossie Gage Bates, officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine View Cemetery, Quaker Rd., Queensbury.
Donations may be made, in loving memory of Karen-Lynn Steinhauer, to Allyson Rose Rivers Trust Fund c/o Glens Falls National Bank, 696 Upper Glen St., Queensbury, N.Y. 12804.
