GRANVILLE --- Kathryn "Kathy" Godsil Lozo, 64, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025, surrounded by her family and devoted caregivers.

Born June 1, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of William Robert and Marie (Nolan) Godsil.

Kathryn graduated from Queensbury High School in 1978. She was an avid fan of the New York Giants, a passion she shared with her father. She also enjoyed spending time with her many friends.

In addition to her father, Kathryn was predeceased by her husband, Charles Lozo.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother; sisters, Michelle Hayward (Jim), Margaret Godsil-Martin (Todd), and Elizabeth Godsil (Rob Hanks); aunt and Godmother, Peg Bushey; cousins, Colleen Doering (Chris), Brian Bushey and Mark Garlen (Paula); niece, Mary Kate Goel (Duncan); nephew, William Hayward (Fiancée, Jen Sime); as well as many, many friends.

Visitation will take place Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Scott Vanderveer officiating.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the care team and "her girls" at the Granville Center for treating Kathy not only as a patient but a part of their family. In addition, the family is deeply grateful for the kindness and compassion from the numerous teams at Glens Falls Hospital including the staff of the ER, ICU, Tower 6, Tower 2 and the Palliative Care Team.

Interment will be in the spring at the convenience of the family.
