QUEENSBURY --- Keith W. Bodenweiser, 55, of Queensbury, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Albany VA Medical Center.
He was the son of Norbert W. Bodenweiser and Mary (Drescher) Bodenweiser.
After graduation, Keith served as a Radio Operator in the US Navy. He went on to work as a carpenter for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time fishing with his children and looking for historical artifacts. His family was of the greatest importance to him.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his son, Nicholas A. Bodenweiser.
Survivors besides his mother, include his wife, Estelle M. Cavanagh, of Queensbury; his children, Kristopher S. Bodenweiser, of Warrensburg, Eric D. Cavanagh and Monica L. Cavanagh, of Queensbury; his brother, Clifford Bodenweiser, of Marlboro Massachusetts; his sisters, Karen Bodenweiser of Queensbury, and Candice Talbot and her husband, David, of Denver Colorado; and his nephews, Brett, Geoffrey, and Sean.
Friends may call from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2012, at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette Street, Queensbury, NY 12804. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Our Lady of Annunciation Church, Aviation Road, Queensbury. The Rite of Committal, with full military honors, will be conducted immediately following the funeral, at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Veteran's Cemetery, Duell Road, Saratoga.
The family would like to thank the staff at Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany, for all their care, guidance and support.
