Obituary

Queensbury --- Keith R. LeClair went into the arms of the Lord in the early morning hours of Friday Aug. 17, 2012, with family by his side at Westchester Medical Center.
Born Feb. 16, 1947 in Plattsburg, NY, he was one of four children to late Violet Collins and Kenneth LeClair.
Keith grew up in Ellenburg Depot and was a graduate of Ellenburg High School in 1964. He went on to serve in the Air Force where he was a analysis specialist. He spent 15 months in Pakistan as a Radio Intercept Analysis Specialist. After serving his time he was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant. Keith received a diploma in data processing and computer programming from Cybernetics Institute in Albany, NY and completed the Far East European Program at Syracuse University where he learned Russian. Keith was a active member in the local VFW Post No. 2475 where he was once even the a commander of the post. Keith was well know in his job place settings, working for many years in local Stewart's shop. Most recently he retired from Verizon where he was a lead tester.
Keith loved his animals, though the years having many dogs and feline friends. He also enjoyed taking his wife out for car rides and out to eat. Also taking his great-grandchildren to get ice cream or to the park. Keith was a man with a big heart and cared for many.
Keith leaves behind his wife of almost 40 years Nathalie LeClair of Queensbury; three siblings, Kathleen "Deenie" Linn and husband, Thurman, of California, Kandi LeClair also of California, and Kevin LeClair and wife, Sitti, of Germany; a grandson whom he adopted and raised as his own son, Cory LeClair and wife, Satin, of Queensbury; three children through marriage, Thomas Flynn of Broadalbin, James Flynn of Hudson Falls, and Dianne Jorden and husband, Michael, of Ohio; five grandsons, Michael "Mikey" Oddy, Thomas Flynn, Nate Flynn, Mathew Jorden and Jeff Flynn; two granddaughters, Leah Jorden and Brooke; six great-grandchildren Aleah, Jasmine, Breanna, Madilynn, Kaitlyn and Michael; one aunt, Dorothy LeClair; two nieces, Amy and Amanda; three great-nieces, Bailey, Kloe, and Evee; and some cousins as well. He also left behind a close friend, Darlene Dickinson.
Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012 at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joseph Busch officiating.
Burial will follow at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
