Obituary

QUEENSBURY --- Kristen Lyne Stevenson, 33, was tragically taken from her family, friends and her colleagues at Glens Falls Hospital on January 26, 2021.  The accident occurred at the hospital as she was leaving work and she was lost despite the best efforts of her fellow medical professionals.

Kristen was a mom, a nurse, and a student. She was devoted to her son Landon, her patients, her family and her studies.

She graduated from Lake George High School. She was married shortly after to Israel Del Toro for 10 years. During that time Kristen was able to travel, live in multiple states before settling back home to begin her nursing career. Following in her mother Connie's footsteps, she went on to become an RN in the nursing program at SUNY Adirondack, earning her BS degree in nursing at SUNY Plattsburgh. She was a perfectionist in her studies and came close to being a perfect nurse. With her sunny and caring personality, she brought comfort to her patients and support to her coworkers.

As a single mom, Kristen was devoted to her son Landon. They were a team, and she loved to watch him play hockey and lacrosse. They played golf often and a favorite pastime was enjoying Lake George on Justin's boat. Kristen had decided to wait to work on her Master's degree until after Landon graduated from high school so that she could spend more quality time with him.

Kristen loved her big extended family and friends, the family parties and summers around the pool at Uncle Danny and Aunt Ali's. She was silly and serious, upbeat, optimistic, and always helpful.

She was predeceased by her mother, Connie Stevenson; her grandparents, Howard and Linda Mattison and Charles Stevenson and uncle Terry Stevenson, Kristen is loved and will be missed by her son, Landon Del Toro and co-parent, Israel Del Toro, her companion, Justin Trackey, her father Todd Stevenson, her grandmother Shirley Stevenson, her sister Heather Richards (Eric), her brother Tanner Goodrich, her aunts Leigh Goodrich, Alison Hazewski (Uncle Danny), Ashley Rouse (Richard), her uncles Heath Mattison (Christine), Tracy Stevenson, Taylor Stevenson (Lisa), Troy Stevenson, her nieces Aubrey and Paisley Richards and many cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday Feb 2 nd from 9 AM until 12:30 PM at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804, with a brief funeral service at 12:30 PM. Due to the current pandemic, all state mandated regulations must be adhered to.
