Queensbury - Laura Ebert, 70, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025.

Born April 26, 1955, in Bronx, New York she was the daughter of Richard J. and Joan M. (Kelleher) Ebert.

Laura graduated from Aquinas high school in the Bronx in 1973.

In 1977, Laura married Desmond Deighan in the Bronx. The couple ultimately ended in divorce.

She worked for Fordham University in the Bronx. At Fordham Laura worked in the administrative office doing grants and contracts.

Laura enjoyed doing any type of craft. Her favorite craft was crocheting.

In addition to her parents, Laura was predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as her brother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, William (Katy) Deighan residing in Waxhaw, N.C., grandchildren, Nolan, Amelia, and Audrey Deighan; sister, Joanne (Dave) Callan; aunt and uncle, Marie and John McCluskey; also her niece, Jamie (Andy) Burnett.

Visitation will take place Monday, December 22, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m.
