LAKE GEORGE--- Lee Ann Rafferty, 56, of Warrensburg and most recently of Lake George, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 23, 2013, after a brief illness with her loving family by her side.
Born July 31, 1956, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Patricia (Schermerhorn) Noble Terrell Baker and Stanley Noble.
Lee was a graduate of Warrensburg Central School, Class of 1975. For several years, she was a bus driver for Head Start and also drove taxi.
Some of her enjoyments were going to garage sales, auctions with her mother, races, and family functions. She also liked word searches.
On July 5, 1984, Lee married the love of her life and lifelong friend, James Rafferty.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Jane (Fonda) Rafferty Elmendorf, father-in-law, James Rafferty Sr., and step-father, Dennis Terrell.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 29 years, James Rafferty Jr.; her son, Jamie Rafferty, his wife Teresa, and their daughter, Chloe; her sister, Sally Wallace and her husband, Richard; her brother, Scott Noble and his companion, Penny; her step-mother, Joan Noble; step-father, Ken Baker; step-brother, Bruce Terrell and his wife, Marilyn; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers- and sisters-in-law, and friends.
Friends may call upon the family Tuesday, May 28, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
