JOHNSBURG-- On March 17, 2024, it is with sweet sorrow we announce the passing of Lesley Anne Matte, 70, of Glens Falls, N.Y., originally born in England.

She enjoyed tap dancing and listening to music in her youth.

In her later years, she enjoyed the simple things in life, a cup of coffee, figure skating, channel 13 (CNBC), and spending time with her friends at East Side and the South Street Center.

She was a beautiful soul with a heart of gold.

She is survived by her mother, Thelma Sweeney, 90, of North Creek, and Frankie Jane Matte Wood and her family.

Services for Lesley Anne Matte will be private.

We would also like to thank Joanne, Emma, Holly, and Josie of High Peaks Hospice for their unwavering dedication and support. We also thank Elderwood Nursing Home and its amazing staff for the care and compassion shown it her short-term stay!
