LAKE GEORGE --- Lester T. Robinson, 75, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, following a long illness.

Born October 29, 1950, in Ticonderoga he was the son of Albert Robinson and Evelyn Harris.

Lester graduated from Bolton High School in 1970. He held many jobs throughout the years, including carpenter assistant, landscaper, and dishwasher. He married Cheryl Robinson in 1980, and they spent 33 years together before her passing in 2013.

Lester was very involved in his church, the Faith Baptist Church in Warrensburg, where he was a proud member and trustee.  He was also a volunteer firefighter in Bolton, back in the early days.

Lester loved his Pepsi, BBQ chips, and eating at Golden Corral. He also loved patriotic items, eagles, lighthouses, parades, and fireworks. His favorite holiday was Christmas, he enjoyed looking at the Christmas lights and loved seeing the cross on his house lit up at night.

In addition to his father, Lester is predeceased by his wife, Cheryl; and his grandparents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Jeremy Burnett, Rachel Robinson, Aaron Robinson, and Nathan Robinson, his wife, Carly; mother, Evelyn Harris; grandchildren, Elizabeth Bailey, Emily Bailey, and Sarah Elizabeth Rose Robinson, due to arrive in March 2026; sisters, Susan Butler, Nancy Robinson, Linda Fish, and Shirley Robinson; brothers, Charles Robinson (Dawn) and David Robinson, Sr.; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will take place Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 4 Burhans Ave., Warrensburg.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Lee Call officiating.

A graveside ceremony will follow at Hope Memorial Garden Cemetery, Ogden Rd., Queensbury.

All are invited to partake in light refreshments and fellowship at the Faith Bible Baptist Church at the conclusion of the burial.
