GLENS FALLS --- Lina Lee (Paul) Rozell, 75, passed away after a long illness Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017 at The Pines at Glens Falls.
She was born June 6, 1942, the daughter to the late George Paul and Loretta (Nobles) Paul.
Lina graduated from Queensbury High School in 1960, as well as cosmetology school. Lina was employed at Fowlers as a cosmetologist, before opening her own Beauty Salon, and later was employed at C. R. Bard. She spent her last years of employment working as a nanny for two loving families who held a special place in her heart.
She married Philip Rozell in 1963, raising their two daughters together during their 14 years of marriage.
She also loved traveling, taking many trips to Montana to visit her grandchildren and Myrtle Beach with her three sisters.
Lina was a member of the Glens Falls congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Her favorite hobby was quilting. Her daughters and grandchildren will always cherish their handmade quilts.
In addition to her parents, Lina was predeceased by her sister, Jeanne Orleman and her nephew, Keith Tatro.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Pamela (Michael) Weivoda and Angela (Dan) Willis; four grandchildren, Brianna (Brad) Rowe, Anthony Weivoda, and Cole and Logan Willis; two great-grandchildren, Rayne and Roxanna Rowe; two sisters, Georgia Bennett and Denise (Malcolm) Tatro; one brother, Peter (Nancy) Paul; also nieces and nephews include Theresa Bennett, Lisa Bennett, Tammy Bennett, Jennifer Santiago, Brian Bennett, Heidi Williams, Nichole Shuler, Sue Paul, Jeremy Paul, Jessica Miranda, and Travis Tatro, and several cousins.
Calling hours will take place Monday, Dec. 11, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.
A memorial service will follow at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family would like to acknowledge the efforts of the staff at The Pines Nursing Home for keeping our loved one comfortable in her last years of life, especially during these last few critical weeks.
