WARRENSBURG --- Linda Jean McNeill, 84, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026, after a brief illness.

Born December 31, 1941, in Warrensburg, she was the daughter of Fred Latham and Ruth Millington.

Linda graduated from Warrensburg High School in 1959. She married Gerald J. “Bucket” McNeill, Sr. in November of 1961.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and long rides into the country around the area. She was also an avid bowler and loved her cats.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her husband, Gerald “Bucket” McNeill; son, Michael H. McNeill; sisters, Edna Latham, Virginia Latham and Ethel Desjardin; and brother, John Fredrick Latham.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Gordon, Fred, Gerald, and Bryan; granddaughter, Stephanie McNeill; great-granddaughter, Ayla Valhalla; and her beloved cat, “Shewillikers” who was by her side.

Visitation will take place Monday, April 27, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will immediately follow.

A graveside ceremony will be held at Warrensburg Cemetery.
