HUDSON FALLS --- Linda A. "Meema" Brill, 61, of Oak St., Hudson Falls, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 22, 2012 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born Oct. 21, 1950 in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late John L. and Lorraine M. (Reice) Hardesty.
Meema graduated from St. Cecilia's Academy, Class of 1969. She worked for Adirondack Pediatrics and Orthopedic Associates of Saratoga.
More recently, Meema was a very active member of Seventh-day Adventist Church of both Kingsbury and North Creek, where she made a lot of good friends. Anyone who ever met this woman will tell you she was very special. She had a way about her that was so welcoming and warming, and was loved by so so many.
She cherished every minute spent with her dog, Luke, who was much more than just a pet to her.
In addition to her parents, Meema was predeceased by few, and survived by many loving siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her three children: Dennis J. Brill and his wife, Laura, of Fort Ann, Amy J. Crowley of Derry, New Hampshire, and Kelly N. Koone and her husband, Curtis, who Linda really considered a son, of Queensbury; seven grandchildren: Joseph C. Koone-17, Jordan C. Koone-16, Mickey C. Koone-12, Kersten A. Crowley-13, Caleb Rich-15, Noah Rich-9, and Allie Wright-3; Meema's former spouse and father of her children, Dennis E. Brill; and her beloved canine companion, Luke.
Meema wanted to be remembered with this wonderful saying: "I loved my family more than anything in the world. My children and grandchildren gave me a reason to live when life became difficult. If I offended anyone along the path of my life or was a disappointment to family or friends in any way I hope that I will be remembered with forgiveness and love." "Most of all I want to be reunited with all those I have loved when Gods promise of salvation and eternal bliss is realized"
